Meet Tyler Hannegan, one of the co-owners at Feel State Florissant.
I serve, right now, as a general manager. Really kind of what that is, is being the glue guy for our entire operational team, handling a lot moreso on the back end functionality, but really being kind of a team builder with our management structure, making sure that we have the right candidates and the right team members here to support all the patients within Florissant.
So I'd say my cannabis journey began in college where my buddies and I obviously tend to use some cannabis products and really tried to kind of expand my horizon on that front. My business partner, Brad Rhodes, was someone that really got me into the space through our own personal journey, kind of the entrepreneurial route in 2017 to 2018 to becoming actual licensed operators here in 2021. So it's kind of been duplicative, but it's been really nice being on this side of things, really looking to expand what we intend to do here at Feel State to all the patients we're here to serve.
I would say it's helping other patients within their journey. I find it very unique from all different walks of life, people that are more recreational that are coming in here from a true medical need perspective, looking to help them navigate through the diverse products that we have, and the products we're looking to share with them that we kind of be along with that, and by doing so we're an integral member of this community — period. We're working with several city council members, the mayor, the police, all different types of business owners, the Chamber obviously, hiring from within the community. It's been very integral for us to kind of really make sure that everyone is comfortable within the cannabis industry here, but really, I'm most looking forward to connecting with the community.
I'd say with the Feel State, with their product offerings in terms of patient education, is unparalleled between the packets between the content that's going out on all the social media platforms, I feel like it's pretty second to none. I feel like a lot of people really look at this from a transactional retail perspective. But with feel state it's more so about growing the community of cannabis in the industry as a whole, and really using it as an educational platform. We don't see that from all members. I think that there are a lot of great contributors in the space, a lot of good friends that are successful entrepreneurs in the cannabis world. And I think that they're going to continue to learn and to work with Feel State moving forward.
I would say that it's really going to come down to how the patients interact with the team. Once again, products are one thing. Everyone's going to carry good products, but I really think it's about that personal touch. The reason why people are going to want to call Feel State their cannabis home is because I think that we're really going to bring and drive and reinforce their activities, making sure that we're calibrating what their needs are to their end game. So I'm most looking forward to that and being a member of Feel State and growing the brand.
