There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to how best to incorporate cannabis into one’s life. As a general rule of thumb, it is best to start low and go slow. However, this is only part of the process. By utilizing the Experiment, Document, Learn approach, one may be more likely to achieve a better outcome from consumption.

Experiment

Dispensaries are full of a wide array of products (from the mainstream - think flower - to the more obscure - think suppositories, if you want!) with many different purported effects. Trying a wide variety of consumption methods can not only be fun, but also allow an individual to find something that works best for their unique physiology.

Document

When you try a product, especially a new one, make note of your experience: how much did you consume, how did it make you feel, were there any unanticipated effects, etc. Tracking this information will better help an individual fine tune their cannabis consumption in order to best optimize their desired experience.

Learn

There is a never ending amount that can be learned about cannabis. While an individual may not have the time (or desire) to constantly keep up with all of the latest information, fortunately there are those who do. One should never be afraid or ashamed to ask dispensary team members for advice or help - that’s what they are there for!

Cannabis is an exciting and fascinating plant and the potential it has to improve one’s quality of life makes it truly unique. Incorporating the simple, three-step process above can assist in unlocking the most benefits as possible.
